Our clinical librarians
Our Clinical Librarian team work closely with clinicians and their departments attending clinical meetings, medical decision meetings, educational ward rounds, as well holding department journal clubs. 1-to-1 and team training sessions are also available, in effective literature searching, evidence-based practice, critical appraisal and understanding statistics.
Clinical Librarians also offer an outreach service which aims to bring an awareness of our Library and Knowledge Services to primary care staff in their own surgeries, practices or units. One of our Clinical Librarians will travel to your place of work to give an introduction to our services and the online resources that we offer. The team also run training sessions in effective literature searching, evidence-based practice, critical appraisal, and understanding statistics.
