We're pleased to announce that we are now providing online access to the Royal Marsden Manual of Clinical Nursing Procedures, free for all staff and students at East Kent Hospitals. All you need is an OpenAthens account registered to EKHUFT

If you are employed by a different organisation, then you can still borrow our physical copies of the Marsden Manual, available at all three Trust libraries.

The old HDAS has been decommissioned

8th March 2017 UPDATE: If you missed the March 3rd deadline to migrate your searches - it is still possible to migrate saved searches, but you will no longer receive any alerts relating to them, so you will need to migrate your alerts too.

Original news item: 23rd February 2017

The old version of the Healthcare Databases Advanced Search is being shut down on Friday 3rd March. This follows an extensive transitionary period to the new HDAS which launched last year.

If you are still using the old HDAS and haven't yet migrated any saved searches and alerts, you will need to do so before this date.
