Bone cement supply chain issue

Following a global bone cement supply issue, we are taking steps to ensure safe and effective care can be provided and we are not planning to cancel operations.

The NHS has issued guidance to hospitals to ensure trauma and urgent care can safely continue while the supply issues are resolved.

The product affected - Heraeus Medical - forms only a small part of our bone cement supply. Any stock already in hospitals is unaffected.

We will contact patients if the situation regarding their operations changes.
