Bruce Campion- Smith, our Head of Diversity and Inclusion is highly qualified with over 20 years’ experience in the field of Equalities. He is responsible for implementing the Equality Delivery System (EDS2) and ensuring that the Trust meets its Public Sector Equality duties demanded by the Equality Act 2010.
He also supervises the Equality Analysis programme which seeks to improve the way in which the Trust (EKHUFT) develops its policies and functions by making sure there is no illegal discrimination in the way that they are designed, developed or delivered and that, wherever possible, diversity, inclusion and the protection of human rights are promoted. Bruce is a member of our Policy & Compliance Group, Patient Experience Group and the Strategic Workforce Committee.
Bruce advises on how best to embody Diversity and Inclusion into all policies, is proactive throughout the trust raising awareness and responding to issues for staff and patients.
He is also responsible for the Trust Interpretation and Translation Service.
