I am very pleased to invite our South region nurses and midwives from BME ( Black and minority Ethnic ) backgrounds , to join us for our first South regional Chief Nurse Officer BME Strategic Advisory Group meeting . This will be hosted by Ethel Changa , South region lead for the CNO BME SAG , on the 20th September 2018 at the Penta Hotel in Reading , from 9am till 1.30pm . The CNO BME SAG was set up to advise the CNO for England to enable demonstration of the importance of inclusive policies and strategies that effectively utilise the skills and talents of BME staff and service users.
