Olu is a Chartered Accountant, Turnaround Economist, and Transformational Leadership Consultant. He has acted as a catalyst for capacity building, organisational transformation, leadership and financial prudence for over 30 years.  With substantive experience in financial and performance audits, staff productivity, turnaround and change, Dr Olasode has delivered on major projects and programmes across the private sector, public sector and in Government.

In addition to his role as Group Managing Director of TL First Accountants and Consultants, Olu provides strategic support to Boards of companies and public service organisations.  Over the last decade, he was Special Adviser to a former Health Secretary; two-term Commissioner and Chairman of Audit and Risk with the UK’s NHS Care Quality Commission; Board Member and Chairman of Audit with the Prime Minister’s Office for Third Sector’s Capacity-builders; Trustee of Skills Third Sector, Chair of a major London Housing Association, and more.

Olu started his career with a first degree in Accounting, a Master’s Degree in Finance and Investment Economics, an Executive MBA, and a PhD in Business Transformation, Organisational Development and Leadership.  He is a Chartered Accountant, Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), and a member of the Institute for Public Service Administrators (APSA). Olu trained with Ernst & Young in Nottingham, a leading Top-4 global accountancy and professional consultancy. He is disciplined with integrity, loyalty and passion for a better society.
