We want to ensure that we make reasonable adjustments to enable our patients and service users to receive information in formats that they can understand and appropriate support to help them communicate.

How accessible our website is

We know some parts of our website are not fully accessible:

  • Old videos may not feature subtitles, audio-description or offer a written transcript. Any new videos we publish will meet accessibility standards and we are working to update or replace older videos.

  • Some images may have insufficient alt text or contain inaccessible information. We are working to update images to meet accessibility standards.

  • Our old PDF documents are not accessible. Any new PDFs we publish after September 2020 will meet accessibility standards.

  • We are aware that content hosted on third party platforms does not meet accessibility standards and we are working to update this content.

How to report accessibility problems with our website

If you find any problems with accessibility that are not listed on this page, please tell us by emailing ekh-tr.communications@nhs.net.  Please tell us the page you were looking at and the information that needs to be improved.

Help with accessibility

You can read this guide from AbilityNet on how to adjust your computer and browser according to your needs, such as for sight or hearing problems.

It covers how to make the text larger in different browsers, change your keyboard or mouse settings, or increase colour contrast.
