- What is this leaflet about?
- As part of the anaesthetic care for your operation, you have been given a medicine called sugammadex to speed up recovery of your muscles after your surgery. Sugammadex can affect hormonal contraceptives, including the 'Pill', vaginal ring, implants, or hormonal IntraUterine System (IUS), so if you are using any of these please refer to this leaflet for more information.
