Kinesio taping is a treatment approach using kinesiology tape (also known as K-tape or sports tape).  The tape is applied directly to the skin to treat musculoskeletal injuries and conditions (for example tendonitis or swelling). This leaflet explains how to apply the tape and how to care for it.
