The Trusts unique initiative to encourage staff to propose new and innovative ways to improve our care and services was recently highlighted on the BBC's Inside Out programme. After Dragons Den is designed to allow any member of staff or team to pitch their ideas to a group of senior executives. If they are able to convince the dragons, they can start working on their projects straight away.
Some of the successful projects that have come through After Dragons Den include:
- red mats for dementia patients
- capsule endoscopy
- digital dictation
