We are building a new hospital in Dover and would like your views on what it will be named.
A number of options have been suggested and we are presenting these with the thinking behind each suggestion to Trust members, staff and the public to seek their views.
The options are:
Buckland Hospital: This is the name for the existing hospital site, having been renamed in 1948 from the previous name, County Hospital.
Dover Hospital: This is the working title for the new hospital and clearly indicates its location, useful when trying to locate the hospital on maps and road signs.
Dover & District Hospital: This option builds on the above option but reflects the wider area that is served by the hospital.
