Fantastic toy donation for QEQM's A&E

Toy donation to QEQM
Herne Bay mum Emma Webb presented the gifts with her two children to Emma Underdown, the Paediatric Nurse, and Jayne McCreadie, the Play Specialist.

The Paediatric Department of A&E at the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital (QEQM) received a generous donation of toys , equipment and craft items last week. They were all donated by a Emma Webb, a mother who has spent quite a lot of time in hospital with her son. Emma raised the funds by selling goods on a Social Media site, in and around her local area of Herne Bay.

The toys and equipment are a great asset to a child in the A&E Department, or for being used as a form of distraction whilst children are undergoing treatment. Included in the donation was a flat screen TV/DVD player, two sensory tall lights, two rocking horses and several boxes of craft kits.

We are very grateful to Emma and all her supporters for their generosity, the donation is making a big difference to children attending A&E.
