Staff on Kings C1 and Kings D (M) wards truly made Christmas for one couple who were reunited for a short while on Christmas morning.
Mr and Mrs B were each in different wards but thanks to staff who were able to make room on KC1 for a short while, the couple were able to make sure they spent their 58th Christmas together.
Staff Nurse Dawn Hemsley, said: “The gentleman was so sweet and asked one of the team if he could be taken to see his wife. It seemed like the natural thing to do at Christmas so we did what we could in the circumstances – even if it was just for a short while.”
