Hip and knee replacement patients at EKHUFT can now receive education, advice and support via the new cutting-edge Patient Journey app.
The app has been customised specifically for the Trust in collaboration with Zimmer Biomet, and EKHUFT is the first Trust in the UK to launch the app for its patients.
It’s available to download from both the Apple App Store and Google Play and provides bite-sized education and guidance specific to the patients point on their joint replacement journey.
The app will also remind patients of key dates or actions they need to take, enable information to be delivered via video, maps, or websites, and collate patient feedback to further improve the service.
