East Kent Hospitals Charity chosen to benefit from Co-op Community Fund

Published on 22 November 2021

Shoppers can support East Kent Hospitals Charity at no extra cost thanks to the Co-op Community Fund.

The charity’s Helping Your Hospitals Appeal, which funds projects for patients and staff, will receive 2p from every £1 members spend on selected Co-op branded products and services.

The partnership runs from now until 22 October next year, and members who use the Co-op store in Sturry, and Co-op Funeral Care in Sturry Road, Canterbury, can select the charity to benefit from their donations.

Senior charity officer Dee Neligan said: “We’re delighted to have been selected as one of the Co-op’s Community Fund recipients for the coming year.

“It’s a fantastic way for people to support the charity at no extra cost to themselves, and the money will make a real difference to our fantastic staff and patients.

“We want to continue our work funding schemes to help improve our colleagues’ wellbeing, and to improve our hospital spaces, and all donations will help us achieve this.”

People can sign up as a member for £1 and then select East Kent Hospitals Charity as their selected Local Community Fund. For more information visit https://membership.coop.co.uk/causes/61784
