Our hospitals:

Colorectal Cancer Services

If you have suspected cancer of the colon or rectum you will be referred to our specialist colorectal teams.

Face to face clinics are held at the William Harvey Hospital and anyone with symptoms of possible cancer will be referred by their GP under the two-week wait scheme.

We have also introduced a telephone assessment service to speed up referrals for suitable patients, which will allow us to see more patients, sooner.

If you are suitable for a telephone assessment, you will be offered an appointment within the next one to three days, and a specialist nurse will ring you at the agreed time to discuss your symptoms and book any recommended diagnostic tests.
