You may hear the Macmillan Clinical Nurse Specialist referred to as Specialist Nurse, Key Worker or CNS.

All these terms refer to your Macmillan Clinical Nurse Specialist.

We are hospital-based, and here to offer you and your family support and information to assist you in coping with your diagnosis, and help with the information you need to make an informed decision about your treatment and investigations.

We have a central number for all Macmillan Clinical Nurse Specialists. We have dedicated telephone clinics. To contact your CNS, please contact the careline on01227 868666

Your call will be answered by the Cancer Careline Coordinator, who will ask you a few questions and will book you into the next available telephone clinic.
