Our unit is a major training centre for dentists and doctors at various stages of their training. We have 6 DCT juniors, 2 overseas MTI fellows, 1 NTN registrar (educational approval for 2 NTNs) for OMFS, 1 DCT junior 2 part time NTN registrars for Restorative Dentistry and 2 NTN registrars and 1 FTTA senior registrar for Orthodontics.
All training is carried under very close supervision of consultants and overseen by educational supervisors. Trainees may be preparing for specialty and research degree exams. Their training progress, logbooks and work based assessments are closely monitored.
