CROP is not a campaigning organisation, but a confidential advocacy service. They use trained volunteers, who visit older people in their own home to express their individual needs, either for themselves or through a visiting advocate. All volunteers are police checked to deal with vulnerable old people and carry identity badges with them. CROP ensure that the volunteers are regularly updated and trained to a high standard.
