Custom made thermoplastic / neoprene splints and braces can be designed to suit your individual needs including both static and dynamic options. Splints may be used to reduce pain, support arthritic or weak joints to enhance recovery or prevent deterioration.
The therapist uses materials to ensure a tailor made fit and works with the individual to ensure that the splint provided is effective and comfortable to wear.
A range of off the shelf splints are also available, some of which can be provided by the NHS others can be bought privately.
