OT’s provide input on the following wards:

  • Medical
  • Stroke
  • Neurology
  • Vascular/Surgery
  • Cardiology
  • Urology
  • Renal and Haematology
  • Minor Injury Unit including Critical Care Unit (CCU)
  • Clinical Decisions Unit (CDU). 

Outpatient clinics

  • Hand Therapy
  • Rheumatology

William Harvey Hospital

OT’s provide input on the following wards:

  • Medical

  • Surgical
  • A and E / CDU/ WACU
  • Cardiology (CCU)
  • Elective orthopaedics
  • Trauma and orthopaedics
  • Acute Stroke Unit
  • Padua (children's)

 Outpatient clinics:

  • Day hospital

  • Hand Therapy

  • Rheumatology

  • Joint school (for individuals who are having elective hip or knee surgery) – classes held each week.

Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital

OT’s provide input to the following wards:

  • Health Care of the Older Person (Rehab)
  • Stroke Unit
  • Medical
  • Surgical
  • A and E and CDU
  • Cardiology (CCU)
  • Elective orthopaedics
  • Trauma and orthopaedics
  • Rainbow ward (children).

Outpatient clinics

  • Rheumatology– Once a week
  • Hand therapy – twice a week
  • Joint school (for individuals who are having elective hip or knee surgery) – classes held each week
  • Day hospital – Balance group, falls assessments, home visits, Parkinsons group.
