How to Refer
As we are an acute service, referrals for a SLT assessment of communication and swallowing difficulties are received directly from staff on the ward. If you have concerns regarding yourself, a relative or friend who are an inpatient at any of our three acute hospitals, please speak with a member of staff on the ward who can make a referral to our service on your behalf.
Community Services
If you require community services, please note that our team does not provide home visits, outpatient appointments of any other community services (other than for people with a recent diagnosis of head and neck cancer). Please visit the Kent Community Health Foundation Trust websitefor information regarding community SLT services.
