Child Health Services Parent and Carers Involvement Group

Child Health Services Parent and Carers

Purpose

The Parent and Carers Involvement Group has been established as a forum to gain parental views and feedback on information that the service provides for parents and carers of children and young people who access the Child Health Services.

These services include:

  • Children and Young People’s Therapy Service (speech and language therapy/occupational therapy and physiotherapy)
  • Community Paediatrics
  • Acute Child Health – inpatients and outpatients.

The aim is to work together with parents and carers to review/amend current information available to parents and carers and develop future information which parents/ carers feel would be helpful. We recognise that in order to provide helpful, effective information services need to work with parents and carers.
