Research and Innovation - East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust (ekhuft.nhs.uk)

Are you a Nurse, Midwife, Allied Health Professional, Social Worker or other Health or Social Care Professional, considering a clinical academic career? Would you like to gain experience of the academic world whilst gaining exposure to the research environment?

Funding has been awarded to the Centre for Health Services Studies at the University of Kent to enable successful pre or post-doctoral awardees to receive a bespoke learning and research development programme. HEEKSS will award funding to support backfill cost, academic supervision, and reasonable expenses

The internship programme is designed to provide successful applicants with a starting point on a clinical academic career pathway and to acquire a pre-Master’s level understanding in research methods and applied health and social care research interventions.

The Pre and Post-Doctoral Bridging awards provide support to awardees to enable them to develop an independent piece of research in preparation for a PhD application or other research opportunities.

If you would like more information about the programme please see the documents on the CHSS website
