Induction day

This induction page is designed to provide you with information regarding our local induction programme and the start times. The details of the programme are listed below:

The induction process is mandatory for all new starters and you must attend all timetabled sessions. Attendance at each session will be recorded and reported to your educational supervisor. You will be required to complete administrative and legal documentation to ensure that you are ready to start work, and to gain access to Trust IT systems using Smartcards.

Parking

You will receive scratch cards from the parking team on your arrival in the Centres to display in your vehicles for the duration of your Induction. Please park in the staff parking areas in the hospital grounds.  If during this time you receive any parking tickets, please bring them to the Centre Managers who will have these voided for you.

How to get your ID Badges/Smartcards

With your induction pack sent earlier, you must have received an RA02 form which must be completed and submitted. If you have a Smartcard issued by your previous trust, please provide the long ID number in your card that can be reprogrammed to access the IT systems available here. Our Induction Programme has allocated a time slot to complete the required documentation for issuing Smartcards and ID Badges. Please ensure that you bring the required documentation along with you. For a list of acceptable documentation, please refer to our personal documents guidelines

Statutory and Mandatory e-Learning

For all new starters to the Trust it is a mandatory requirement to complete 7 e-learning modules which can only be done once you have your Smartcard. Please take a look at the list of all e-Learning modules required to be completed.
