ClinicalKey (by Elsevier) provides a comprehensive, trusted, and fast way to ask clinical questions and get relevant answers drawn from one of the largest collections of clinical resources in the world, covering every medical and surgical specialty. 

Thousands of major journals and ebooks are also available in full text, alongside practice guidelines, image and video libraries, drug monographs, and patient-ready information.

UpToDate is a highly regarded evidence-based, peer-reviewed information resource providing topic reviews (clinical knowledge summaries) that include a synthesis of the literature, latest evidence, and recommendations for patient care. 

UpToDate's physician editors and authors review and update the content continuously.

Royal Marsden Manual of Clinical Nursing Procedures

The Royal Marsden Manual provides detailed clinical procedure guidelines based on the latest research findings and expert clinical advice, enabling nurses to deliver clinically-effective patient-focused care.

NICE Evidence Resources

NHS Evidence enables you to search for journal articles, abstracts, and even regional library holdings for particular journals. Databases include the BNI, CINAHL, EMBASE, Medline, PsychINFO and more. 

You can also search NICE's Clinical Knowledge Summaries database, NICE Pathways, guidance, standards and indicators, as well as full access to the BNF.

  • BNF access note - the BNF and BNFC is freely available from anywhere without the need to log in.

BMJ Case Reports

BMJ Case Reports is an in-depth collection of peer-reviewed cases in all disciplines, enabling healthcare professionals, researchers and others to find clinically important information on common and rare conditions.

As well as full access with your Athens account, with EKHUFT's Fellowship code you can also submit your own case reports for possible publication - please contact your Trust Library for the code and more information.
