We value the involvement of local people as volunteers in activities that enhance the quality of life for our patients, visitors, carers, and also support the staff in delivering high-quality health care.
Our typical volunteering roles are as follows, these can be subject to change, so please get in touch if you have any queries:
- Ward Helpers
- Mealtime helpers
- Emergency department helpers
- Gardeners
- Meet and Greet at the main entrances
If you are over 18 years of age and have a little time to spare in your local area we would love to hear from you.
Please complete the online application form in the first instance. The volunteer team will be in contact with you to discuss a telephone interview, DBS check and induction.
