We always check any returned crutches and other walking aids to see if we can reuse them. If we cannot use them for our patients we inform charities such as Operation Sunshine, who collect and refurbish them to send abroad to third world countries and for landmine victims.
If you do have any walking aids that could be returned to us please drop them off at any Physiotherapy Outpatient Department at any of the following hospitals.
Royal Victoria Hospital, Folkestone
Buckland Hospital, Dover
Kent & Canterbury Hospital, Canterbury
William Harvey Hospital, Ashford
Queen Elizabeth Queen Mother Hospital, Margate
