Across our hospitals we have great stories to tell, great ideas and lots of things to share.
During EKHUFT’s Social Media Week, starting 30 October, you can take part and learn how to share your message with the world with confidence and get involved online.
Whether you are a social media superstar, or a total trainee, we are supporting everyone to help them understand how to make the best of social media including:
- how you can get involved in conversations
- how to learn from others to benefit their career
- how to stay safe online and
- understanding how patients and colleagues are using social media.
In the NHS, the use of social media has evolved from communications teams tweeting press releases, to staff and leaders all taking part in spontaneous conversations.
Throughout the week we are running various events aimed at making people aware of our social media platforms within the Trust and how you can use social media to interact with your audience.
These will be held throughout the week across our hospitals and there will also be loads of online activity you can get involved with, just follow along with #EKHUFTSoMeWeek
