We are a specialist team that sees patients with difficult medical problems, who may be having an operation. Within Urology, we currently help to look after patients admitted as an emergency. The aim of the team is to work closely with surgical and anaesthetic teams to make sure that patients are:
- Having the most appropriate treatment for their condition
- Able to make an informed decision about their treatment
- As fit as possible before surgery
