Pathology Tests and Services

Our pathology department provides services within its hospitals, to GPs and to our community partners within east Kent. We offer a range of specialist assays at competitive prices to NHS and other laboratories.

Our UKAS assessed laboratories at our hospitals in Ashford, Canterbury and Margate provide high quality technical services with efficient turnaround times. Our service includes scientific interpretation and specialist clinical advice.

Our repertoire of specialised tests has been established over many years, matching our clinical and research interests.

Results can be returned by post or electronically via NPEx where customer laboratories support this facility.

The laboratory also has a DX mailbox for receipt of specimens across the DX network (DX 6403003).
