Visiting closed at QEQM Hospital, Margate

Update January 2026

Due to the current critical incident and high levels of winter illnesses, we have currently stopped visiting on all wards at QEQM. The only exceptions are children’s wards, critical care units, and maternity areas. This is to keep patients safe. We know this is hard and thank you for your support and understanding.

If your loved one is at the end of their life or needs special help, you will be allowed to visit. The ward manager will agree this with you. We will contact you to arrange this, or you can call the ward desk.

Virtual visiting will be available for all patients. We will contact you to set this up, or you can call the ward desk.

Site improvement works
