History with the Trust

Stewart joined the Trust on 1 June 2021, he was appointed as acting Chair on 1 January 2024.

Professional background

Stewart has over 30 years commercial experience working in the private sector, holding senior roles in a variety of high profile organisations, including Eurostar and Virgin.  He is currently the Chief Executive of a private equity investment business and sits as a Non-Executive Director on a number of Boards. 

Other current activities

Stewart is married with three children and is also a Non-Executive Director in-common of Spencer Private Hospitals and a Trustee of Kent Search & Rescue.
