Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital offers pay-on-foot parking (Pay & Display only in disabled parking zones). Car parks are situated on both the Ramsgate Road and St Peter's Road sides of the hospital.
For details of parking charges, please see our main Parking Page
Visitor parking (Ramsgate Road side) - after entering from the highway, to your left you have a visitor car park with 37 bays; or if you follow the one-way road past main reception and turn right at the crossroads (past the Hospice) you will reach another visitor car park with 69 bays (entrance on right).

Disabled parking (Ramsgate Road side) – drive straight towards A&E and turn left at the bend, and then left again (13 bays).
Disabled parking (St Peter's Road side) - either enter opposite the St Peter’s Road entrance (29 bays), or opposite Maternity, turning left on entry (not through barriers) and follow road round (13 bays).
Patient drop-off bays are located directly outside the hospital entrances. These are intended for drop-off and pick-up only and we would ask you not to wait or park there as space is limited.
Staff parking areas are reserved for staff permit holders only – please be careful not to park in one of those as you may be liable to a parking ticket. Please also be mindful of areas signed for restricted use as standard P&D tickets will not be valid in those areas.
There are also separate car parks operated by the Pilgrims Hospice, the Thanet Mental Health Unit, and by Spencer Hospitals, all of which are reserved for their patients and visitors only.
Weekly permits can be obtained via the pay stations. Simply press the 'others' button
on the pay station display screen and the weekly ticket option will appear. Keep the ticket safe as on subsequent visits, you will need to insert it at the entry barrier to gain access, and again at the exit barrier when you leave.
