Phlebotomy opening times:
Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm
Laboratory opening times for delivery of samples: Monday - Friday 8am - 8pm
If you are a patient requiring a GTT (Glucose Tolerance Test ) fasting blood test, then please ring 01843 235000 (lines open Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm) to make an appointment. On arriving in the department just take a seat and your name will be called. Please ensure you bring your form with you at the time of your blood test. Failure to present this form may result in your test not being done and you having to make a return visit

From the main St Peters Road entrance, enter through the doors into the main hall. Turn right and follow corridor to the end. Turn left and follow corridor round to the right and then left at the end of the corridor. The phlebotomy suite is on the right and pathology reception on the left.
From the new outpatient unit, enter through the main doors and go through the doors on the left near the seating area. Either use the lift to go up one floor or walk up the stairs. Go through the double doors at top of the stairs and follow corridor right and then left. At the end of the corridor the phlebotomy suite is on the right and pathology reception on the left.
From the Ramsgate Road entrance, go through main doors and walk down to the corridor. Lifts and stairs are situated at both ends of the corridor and use either to go up one floor. Once on the upper level turn left and follow corridor round to left. Follow corridor until the end (pass restaurant on right). Turn left and travel for approximately 100 yards passing through the main hall and into the outpatients' area.
