Library changes updates

Our three physical book spaces within libraries are being consolidated into one physical collection at Kent and Canterbury Education Centre.

To facilitate this move we will need to close parts of the study space at WHH and QEQM from Monday, 2 June until Tuesday, 1 July. There will be no access to book stock during this time. All other services will remain the same including evidence searching, clinical librarian support and article retrieval.

Private study space will continue to be available to staff but there may be some temporary disruption during this time.

Borrowing books 

You will be able to borrow books again from 1 July, when the library at K&C reopens.

Although there will be no book stock at QEQM or WHH, you will be able to request books to be sent from the library at K&C to your site for collection. You will be able to do this by contacting the library and knowledge services team, or by logging into your library account on our catalogue.

Study spaces

After 1 July, the physical space at WHH and QEQM will remain a 24hr access private study space. At K&C, study space will be available in the lounge area of the Education Centre.
