What we do
Our teenage and young adult (TYA) service offers specialist age-appropriate care to cancer patients ages 16-24 years.
About your appointment
Once you have been diagnosed, our team will be in touch to organise an appointment.
We may also attend other appointments to give you extra support.
If you are a cancer patient turning 16, then the TYA service will support you alongside your oncology team.
Where to find us
Patients aged 16 to 18 years will be treated at The Royal Marsden Hospital in London. This is to offer specialist care for your age group.
If you are aged between 19-24 years old, you will be offered the choice of treatment at The Royal Marsden or at East Kent Hospitals.
How to use this service
Most referrals to our service come via oncology teams.
All patients referred to the TYA service will be contacted within one week of receiving your referral.
